The dry and rough climatic conditions of KUTCH, exaggerates the various eye problems.

It was observed that patients from interior areas find it difficult to reach to the eye care center due to vast distance and lack of transport.

Hence, this  Abhiyaan, provides the unique concept of  “visit of doctor at their doorstep” for preliminary check-up.

More than 400 small villages are covered under this project.

This helps the timely diagnosis of the disease and the treatment.

The team of doctor and assistant along with medicines and few basic instruments reach the village, screen the patient and do the needful.

Well equipped vehicle/ambulance is kept on wheels for this.

Needy patient is then referred to BHOJAY for further treatment/surgery.
