Shree Liladhar Manek Gada (Adha)

A visionary man who initiated a new era of service, Shri Liladharbhai dedicated his life to uplifting society through health initiatives and literature. He began writing poetry during his college years, and his creative journey continues with works like the poetry and ghazal collection Kashish and the musical releases Bhamri and Mungi Re Vedna. His widely acclaimed column Pag Mein Bhamri, running continuously for 45 years, has been compiled into a five-volume series, along with his other works such as Half Fiction, Half Truth, Pillar 1175, and Prayashchit Nu Pratham Pagathiyu

Systematic health activities in Kutch began in 1973 under his guidance, and his name soon became synonymous with medical camps. The first Eye Camp in Dumra, held in memory of Dr. Bhanji Umarsinh Gada, was managed entirely by him and inspired many young medical students to volunteer. This successful initiative motivated hundreds of doctors, establishing Liladharbhai as a true role model in community healthcare.
